Kansas is the defending Tournament champion, beating Texas Tech 74-65 in last year’s title game. The tournament is contracted to be played in Kansas City through 2025. The Big 12 Tournament has been hosted annually at T-Mobile Center, formerly known as Sprint Center, since 2010. All 10 Big 12 programs will participate in the tournament, with the winner receiving the conference’s automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
